How to enter equine facilitated therapy?

EFT Liekki Oy offers equine facilitated therapy to contract customers and self-paying customers: in Finnish, Swedish, English and Spanish.

We can also receive customers with special communication needs as AAC- picture communication symbols.

Commitment customers

Riding therapy can be accessed, for example, with a commitment from the hospital district or municipality. Therapy prices are contract-specific and we bill the service provider directly. Commitment therapy is free of charge for the client. You can inquire about the commitment from the social and health services of your municipality, insurance companies or any other paying organization. KELA also give commitments to customers covered by medical rehabilitation, requierd by a doctors statement.

EFT Liekki Oy currently has a valid contract with Kymsote for contract customers within the area of Kymenlaakso. If necessary, a contract will also be made with other paying parties.

NOTE!

EFT Liekki Oy will have a valid contract with KELA about swedish and finish speaking services for equine facilitated therapy starting 1.1.2023.

Contract prices for equine facilitated therapy vary from 130- 195 e / 60min

(VAT. 0%), depending on the content of the contract between the service provider and the paying party.

Commitment agreements normally include: the use of a therapy horse + if necessary, an assistant (if the client's physical ability so requires), the establishment of goals with the client and / or the sending party, the documentation of therapy sessions and the final feedback either freely written or on the KU117 form, from KELA.

Self-paying

You can also enter equine facilitated therapy as a self-paying customer, in which case the price of the service is billed directly to the customer before arriving at the therapy.

The price of equine facilitated therapy for self-paying customers is 110e / 60min

(VAT 0%).

The therapy price for self-paying includes: the use of a therapy horse and the documentation of each therapy sessions. If the client visits more than 5 times self-paying, the final feedback / summary of the therapies will be made to a doctor or another receiver for free, either written in freely form or on the KU117 form, from KELA.

The price of a therapy feedback, if visited therapies less than 5, is 25e.
